Data complaints
Last updated: 2026-05-27.
If you have a complaint about how Choose You Raffles handles your personal data, you have a right to raise it with us first and a right to escalate it to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you are not satisfied with our response. This page explains both routes and the timescales we commit to under the Data Use and Access Act 2025 (DUAA), which is in force from 19 June 2026.
Email the data-complaints inbox
Send your complaint to info@chooseyouraffles.co.uk. Include:
- Your account email (so we can locate your record)
- A clear description of what happened and when
- What outcome you want (delete, correct, restrict, or explain)
- Any reference numbers from previous correspondence
30-day acknowledgement commitment
Under DUAA 2025 we are required to acknowledge every data-protection complaint within 30 days of receipt. Our target is faster: we aim to acknowledge inside 5 working days and to give a substantive response within 30 days. Where a complaint is complex and a full response will take longer, we’ll tell you why and when to expect the resolution.
Route to the ICO
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your complaint, you have the right to refer it to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
- Website: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- Helpline: 0303 123 1113 (Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm)
- Post: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF
You do not have to raise a complaint with us first to contact the ICO, but doing so usually resolves the issue faster.
